A sneak peek to the Non-ferrous Metal Casting Equipment industry

Non-ferrous Metal Casting Equipment is significant to manufacture the end products in the said casting industry.Manufacturing of non-ferrous metal casting equipment and products is broadly categorized into the flow of casting sand and casting material.

The process of metal casting for non-ferrous metals begins with casting sand and binder selection. Then the casting material and flux fuel are taken for melting, then the waste material gets recycled. The molten material is taken for injecting into various molds.

Now the mold is separated and the casting metal is separated from the mold and sand regeneration treatment is done. Now the residue is again sent to the waste recycle procedure.

After the finishing process for metal casting is carried out, waste materials are recycled again and the finished non-ferrous metal casting is inspected and shipped to the buyers, suppliers or warehouses via different modes of transport.

The procedure is explained in a step by step manner below;

Step1 explains;
Melting any alloy base metal through electricity, petroleum or gas heating system, sometimes degassing of liquid metal and oxide removal is done using flux.

In step2
The pouring process of molten metal into a mold takes place.

Stage3 of the method includes releasing the casting from the mold.
Under step4 the non-ferrous metal casting passes through a sprue gate to form a product, so now the gate is cut and burrs are grounded off at the joints, if any.

Preparing the casting sand is easy; here sand and binder is mixed together, then the shape of the product is transferred to the sand mold. After the product gets its shape, sand is retrieved along with waste materials as well as other fine particles.
