Pneumatic Cylinders are one of the most efficient equipment and accessories implemented across industries. The best part is that they work with air pressure rather than the hydraulic force. The force is always applied in a linear motion, where air is continuously taken to fill and run the pneumatic systems. As natural gases are always in use, there is practically no danger of other harmful gases.

The operation of pneumatic cylinders depend on the way, they are used for each industry. There are different kinds of cylinders depending on their functionalities. A single-acting cylinder is piston-oriented that pushes the compressed air to flow through a solenoid valve into the backside of the piston, exerting a high force. With a compressed spring mechanism the piston can move back to the original position, once the air passes out of the pneumatic system.

A double-acting is actually uses valves to inject different steams of compressed air on both sides of a piston. One side of the piston is pushed out with one kind of compressed air pressure, whereas it is pushed in with another gush of air pressure from the reverse side. The air cylinder needs proper control to work in synch with the entire system.
