Things To Remember When Buying Table Cover

Table covers are also known as table cloth. Now no more hiding your old wooden or metal tables? Flaunt all your tables with decorative table cover. Table cloths are available in various sizes, patterns, fabrics, shapes all you need to do is choose wisely. Apart from being attractive, table cloth also protects your table from scratches, stains and physical damage.

Table clothes can be expensive and very hard to find so before making the purchase look for the following pointers and buy a table cloth that lasts long and adds value to decorate the interiors of your house.
  • Size: Size is a vital element because if you buy a too small or too big in both scenarios the table may look shabbier. So using a measuring tape note the dimensions of the table by measuring the length and the breadth of the table that you want to buy the table cover.
  • Shape: There are various shapes of table covers available in the market, so finding the right one which suits your needs is the challenge. So buy a table cover that compliments with the shape you have at home. However it is advised that if you have an oval or a round table never buy square or rectangle covers as they make your table appear untidy.
  • Colour:There are many shades available, so don’t get confused always choose colours that easily blend with the colour combination of the specific room in which the table is placed. However more than white always buy vibrantly printed table covers which usually come with a combination of coasters and can be used as picnic spreads too.
  • Fabric: Cotton table covers are easily available and cheap too but not recommended as they need regular ironing and special care has to be taken while washing them as they are single coloured. So ideally superior plastic or mix fibre made table covers should be bought as they are easy to maintain and store.
If you carefully follow the minute details highlighted in the above pointers and make the right decisions then, nothing can stop you from flaunting and bragging about how robust your tables are, which were always hidden in the attic every time the guests visited.
