What’s ideal for making bags Plastic, Paper or Cloth?

With the abundance of cheap, robust yet environmentally hazardous materials it is a tough to choose the right material to produce bags. So it is becoming difficult for manufacturers at large. From retailers to grocery vendors all are in the bid to adopt the conventional transition plastic sacks or to embrace the inventional approach of paper bags. But as both the solutions are although are handy but none is the best resort as in one way or another, plastic as well as paper are withering away the environment.

So as compared to the plastic and paper bags, traditional cloth bags are gaining popularity as they are available in vibrant colours, designs, sizes and shapes. The major reason for the decreasing popularity of the plastic bags and paper bags besides the environmental damage is that both the bags although affordable, are not robust in origin as they have a timed life and also are not the best choice while handling heavy loads.

Plastic sacks however dominate the packaging industry in comparison to cloth or paper bags as they prevent water or moisture damage due to their physical composition. Plastic is also a favourite commodity used in households as it is easy to store various item not so expensive as compared to others plus easily available. But with the enormous awareness among the people towards adopting environmentally safe materials for storage of food items and commodities people are largely embracing cloth over plastic.

Apparently for some purposes the use of plastic sacks is unavoidable. For example there is no possible replacement for trash liners also known as trash bags. So in scenarios like this don’t be guilty just remember to adopt ways which can ensure that plastic sacks can be recycled to prevent pollution and harm the environment.

Using cloth bags is the best alternative, to push this message across many grocery stores have started charging consumers an extra fee to promote the use of cloth bags, and eradicate the consumption of plastic sacks. Many have started carrying cloth bags to save the extra pennies, but as the numbers are few with the improving awareness, mind sets and practices are improving.
