Indian food is all about adding the right spices. Almost every Indian recipe is incomplete without garlic.Both fresh and dried or dehydrated garlic is widely used for in making breads, meat loaf and variety of food items. Garlic is a common condiment used in Italian cuisines and also as a seasoning for salads.

As garlic has high antioxidants properties it is often used as a cell-growth regulator which prevents to control the growth of blood cells.

India contributes 4.1% of the total global production. India is the second largest producer of garlicafter China producing 8 million tons of garlic. However with the growing demand for dried garlic India is also a leading exporter of garlic along with various other condiments.

Garlic is a used as a common flavouringagent in food; it also acts as a premium agent to prevent food poisoning. Researchers have also proved that using garlic as a supplement in your daily food intake prevents us from bacterial infections of E. coli and staphylococcus a common disease causing bacteria.
