Manufacturing and production plants have the tendency to generate plenty of heat, during the production phase; while all the machineries run with full pace. The things that keep these giant mechanical, hydraulic and various other machines running in a maintained atmosphere are fans, blowers and ventilators; in India you get a wide variety of them.
Fans, blowers and ventilators work on their specific ways to render sufficient cooling, at the same time not dropping the requisite temperature of the working atmosphere of machineries. Fans and blowers are essential to offer ventilation to meet industrial process requirements. Fans are used to move air by generating pressure against duct, damper and other fan components’ resistance.
Basically there are 3 types of industrial fans used in plants and manufacturing units; radial fans with flat bed, forward curved fans, with forward curved blades and backward inclined fans having tilted blades away from the direction of rotation. The backward inclined fan blades can be flat, curved and airfoil blades. As per the flow of air, fans are divided into two categories centrifugal and axial.
Fans, ventilators, blowers and compressor differ from each other as per their shape size and functionality of moving air in different methods and working against the factors or systems in a machine. But the main goal of all the equipment remains same.
Commonly blowers are of 2 types and they can achieve high pressure than a fan, reaching around 1.20 kg per square centimetre. In industrial vacuum system they are capable of producing negative vacuum systems. Positive displacement blower and centrifugal blowers are the widely available blowers in India.
At the end may it be a fan, blower, compressor or a ventilator they serve the industry, to meet the needs of the machineries and produce desired results.
