Packed, tinned or processed; all kinds of foods are now readily
available in the market. Due to busy life style of modern times, people are
mostly having their food while they are on move or in hurry. The lifestyle has
changed so much that the preference has shifted from home made food to street
or outside food. Variety available in food has made it possible by all means.
Today, companies are experimenting on how they can provide
good quality and healthy food to human beings while still endowing them with taste
with variety. Ready to cook food items are getting larger on shelf where you
just have to add some boiled water or milk and the food is ready for you
without doing any chopping or cutting. For this, companies are using dehydrated
vegetables; which after being mixed with their ingredients and after cooking,
will give the same taste as fresh vegetables provide. The word dehydrated does
not mean only lack of moisture, rather it is a process of preserving vegetables
in such a manner that its moisture content is nil and when you provide
moisture, it gives you the same flavor and smell.
Many processed, packed and frozen products are now using
dehydrated items. Soups, noodles, condensed milk, instant coffee, onions,
garlic, peas, mangoes and jelly etc are the finest examples. Other than
vegetables and fruits, now animal meat is also being dehydrated. Many fast food
companies use only dehydrated products in their menu.
Dehydrated vegetable suppliers keep
health issues of consumers in mind and less use of adhesives is the first step
towards the same. They use state-of-the-art techniques for making qualitative products
result in freedom from side effects of bacteria, yeast or molds. Earlier
vegetables were dehydrated by direct heat of sun or through smoking, but now
fully automatic machines are used so that the food items can be free from human
touch and can be prepared in total hygienic conditions.
