Match boxes are primarily used for lightening the fire for
different uses. Match boxes are in use since a long time and these are being
made all around the country and the world. Match box is basically the box made
of light wood or cardboards with friction strip at sides so that fire can be
produced by rubbing the match sticks on it.
Matchbox manufacturing is a process of different series where
soft wood or cardboards are purchased. The paper that has to be stuck on
cardboards are printed and then affixed. These cardboards are cut into the size
of matchboxes and then matchboxes are arranged in the shapes that we see in
market. Finally the match sticks are filled in the boxes and the whole pack is
packed into big boxes for better safety and handling.
