Understanding The Industry : Manufacturing Boilers, Ovens, Furnaces And Burners

Manufacturing boilers, ovens, furnaces and burners are part of the same niche industry. Kiln, furnace and burners are manufactured specifically for industrial use.

Home heating furnaces and ovens are different from that of the industrial ones.Metallurgical and industrial furnaces are manufactured based on similarly the relevant properties, but their application differs as per the need of the industry. Boiler or heater is a very common synonym of furnace used within a household system. If the heat distribution across a house is through fluid material then it is known as boiler. For ceramic production industry the furnace is called as a kiln.

Have a glance on the different types of metallurgical furnaces;
Blast furnaces that convert iron ore to pig iron and steel making furnaces such as reverberatory furnace, electric arc furnace, pudding furnace, electric induction furnace, open hearth furnace and furnaces used to remelt metal in foundries as well as vacuum furnaces are the varied range of products that the manufacturing companies of ovens, kilns and burners produce in a large scale.

Industrial process furnaces are directly fired heaters, which would serve as reactors providing heat for reaction.Within this kind of burners the fuel flows into the burner and with the help of the air from an air blower the fuel is burnt. These burners can be floor mounted, roof mounted or wall mounted as per the applicability of the industry and functional needs.

Industrial process furnaces consist of the following parts; Convection section, insulation, radiant section, burner, stack, sootblower and first fire. These parts form a complete industrial burner that meets the industry standards and provides safe operational environment.
