Inorganic chemicals NES has a broader spectrum in the Indian market, as India happens to be the 12th largest chemical industry across the globe. India exports 13% and imports around 8% of chemicals annually. Gujarat is the highest manufacturers of chemicals that accounts to 53 per cent of the total amount manufactured in the country.

Carbon black is the highest product in demand by the market, with a 71% output to the market. Imports and exports of these inorganic chemicals increased highly since the past few years. Soda ash imports enhanced the alkali chemical imports, whereas exports followed the same line of course.
