Rice Bran Oil for a healthy and balanced diet

Rice Bran oil is made from rice extract, basically from rice husk which is the outer layer of rice after it is chaffed. It is highly considered for its high smoke point of 450 Degree F. It is very suitable for deep frying and stir frying and is widely used in many Asian countries including Japan and China. Other than fooding, it is also used in cosmetics, shoe creams, confectionary and other polishing compounds.

Bran Oil is very good for health purposes. It helps in reducing high cholesterol, obesity, diabetics, aids, stomach cancer, high blood pressure, increasing immunity, and many other problems as it acts as an excellent antioxidant. It is also applied directly on the skin to cure allergy. As it contains Vitamin E, it works best for improving endocrine system and provides excellent relief, at the time of menopause in women.

But with all these pros, it has some cons too. Excess intake of it can cause severe side effects. It can cause intestinal gas, stomach discomfort, unpredictable bowel movements, itching and skin redness. All these side effects are rare and there is no conformity that it is caused by rice oil only. But on the safer side, the amount that is suggested for intake is very limited. In fact, it is suggested that the oils should be made rotational every month to have a good healthy balance in a diet.

Rice Bran Oil manufactures in India keeping all these things in mind are making a mixture of rice bran with other vegetable oils that are good for health; so that the properties of different oils can be able to give maximum health protection. Like combination of Rice bran, groundnut, sesame and mustard. Another very good combination of it is sunflower, rice bran plus olive oil. Even groundnut, sesame, rice bran oil plus Canola is also suggested for good health.
