Scarves, the style statement

Scarve is a piece of cloth that is used as an additional accessory with our regular clothing. Scarves are much in demand now as it has become a fashion statement. Scarves are now available in different shapes like rectangular, square, hexagonal or sometimes in triangle also.  These are also available in different sizes ranging from long to short.



Scarve being in existence since 19th century for different purposes has gained importance in the modern era because many celebrities have started carrying it. Scarves, earlier was used for cleanliness and for covering head but now it is being carried randomly. Scarves also known as bandana for religious purpose in Islam and Sikh where girls and boys need to cover their heads while praying. Neck can be covered by scarves either for providing warmness or just for style. But scarves have made their space in today’s clothing.

Scarves manufacturers are making scarves from different fibres like cotton, wool and nylon which are very reasonably available in market. But some of the costly variety of scarves includes scarves made from Pashmina, silk, velvet, angora and cashmere.


Scarves made from yarn are also in demand now a days. As they are soft, warm and versatile, these have become a good accessory option for ladies. Many companies are making their customers aware of wearing it in different ways. It can be tied around neck or can be held loose between shoulders. Hooded variety of scarves have a very cute look and is excellent in providing warmth. Embroidered scarves go well with plain sweaters, blouse or with suits. Scarves made of fur is a very attractive option. In winters, fur provides warmth and makes the clothing more beautiful. And finally, scarves are that option that you can just wear it out, tie at the handle of your purses or in your hair and it will complete the looks.
